Ferrari has been forced to call off Friday’s launch presentation of its 2012 Formula 1 car. The Scuderia had planned to present its new contender to the media before several demonstration laps were carried out for filming at Fiorano, although Maranello and its surrounding area has been bit by heavy snow.

Chevrolet has withdrawn its involvement from the British Touring Car Championship as a works manufacturer, preferring to concentrate on defending its World Touring Car titles.
