Ferrari F1 driver Felipe Massa completed Friday morning's fastest lap in Istanbul Park. The Brazilian showed he is ready to fight for a third win in a row in Turkey by setting the fastest time of the day at 1.27.323. He was just ahead of recovered McLaren driver Heikki Kovalainen and his team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

Massa quickest as Raikkonen falters
Weather forecasts predict perfect conditions for the Formula 1 drivers in Istanbul. This weekend's temperatures won't get much higher than 20 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday there is a small risk of light rain showers but the rest of the weekend should remain dry.
Fresh from three points and a sixth place finish in the Spanish Grand Prix, Jenson Button is aiming for more points this weekend, but acknowledged that if Ferrari, McLaren and BMW stay reliable, it will be difficult to do much better than seventh.
