Donington plan hits a snag
The Williams team divert efforts from their 2009 car in an attempt to improve a run of disappointing results this season.
Renault F1 Team began testing in Hockenheim on Tuesday. Much like the conditions for Sunday's race at Silverstone, the weather in Hockenheim was overcast with frequent rain showers hitting the circuit. With changeable track conditions the team therefore had to adapt its programme accordingly.

With Silverstone representing the halfway point in the 2008 World Championship, Toyota now prepares for one of its home events, the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim on 20 July.
Force India's pre-German Grand Prix test got underway today at the Hockenheimring, Germany. Adrian Sutil, on driving duties in preparation for his home race in just over a week's time, had a productive day, completing 97 laps and recording the fourth quickest time of the day, just over one second from the session's best time set by British Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton was Tuesday's fastest man on track at Hockenheim. The Briton, winner of Sunday's British Grand Prix, was well ahead of title rival Kimi Raikkonen and Williams driver Nico Rosberg at the German track.
