Bridgestone announce tyre specs

Bridgestone has confirmed the compound allocations of Potenza tyres for the final four rounds of the 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship. 

The BMW team will not be enjoying this season's summer break in F1 as team boss Mario Theissen claims back at the factory his staff are working on a number of improvements to the F1.08 ahead of the European Grand Prix.

Honda team boss Ross Brawn says he remains confident that his team's 2008 car will continue to make good progress this season, despite having introduced its last major upgrade of the year, with a new suspension.

The team is still in third place for the constructors' championship but the team's form in the last race did not show their true pace. It left team boss Mario Theissen with a lot of question marks.
