After half a season of speculations Nico Rosberg has confirmed he will be racing for the Williams Formula One team for another season in 2009. The German joined the team as their race driver in 2006 and will see his contract end at the end of next season.

Fernando Alonso admitted that he has had a sneak preview of the all new street circuit at Valencia that will host the next round of the F1 calendar, the European Grand Prix. 

Sebastien Bourdais is having difficulties addapting to the Scuderia Toro Rosso car. His team mate Sebastian Vettel has been doing a better job this season so far but according to Bourdais he is finally getting used to the difficult handling of the team's car.

Force India F1 co-owner Vijay Mallya has revealed the team's new seamless shirt gearbox, which will be introduced later this month at the Grand Prix in Valencia, is the team's final major change to the VJM01 this season

Changes to A1GP Sporting Regulations

Formula 1 will travel to Spain next week for the European Grand Prix. At the brand-new street circuit in Valencia the Formula 1 teams will compete in round twelve of the 2008 F1 championship. BMW Sauber F1 team boss Mario Theissen predicts a lot of activity in the Friday sessions as teams are trying to get used to the track.

Ecclestone and Silverstone - The plot thickens

Retiring Red Bull Racing driver David Coulthard has called for refuelling to be banned from races in a bid to spice up the action. The veteran driver took a shot at refuelling which was reintroduced to the sport in 1994.

BMW Sauber F1 driver Nick Heidfeld says he would prefer to reduce the amount of track testing teams do further, in favour of adding more races to the season.
