Honda become embroiled in the spying saga involving McLaren and Ferrari.
McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso finished Friday's second free practice session for the British Grand Prix in Silverstone in fourth and sixth positions respectively. Lewis completed 39 laps and set a time of 1min21.381 whilst Fernando did 35 laps with a best time of 1min21.616. In the morning session, Lewis was fastest with 1min21.100 (24 laps) and Fernando was fourth with 1min21.675 (21 laps).
Nick Fry was approached by Ferrari and McLaren engineers, team confirms.

The Italian admitted he struggled with the balance in the car, while the weather conditions didn't make it much easier to work on his car's set-up. Team-mate Scott Speed was satisfied with his work in today's two 90-minute sessions.

Toyota drivers Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli showed the car has a promising pace at Silverstone this weekend. Both drivers finished the second free practice session in top five. At the end of the day both drivers were satisfied with the work they completed.
