Another difficult Grand Prix for the Williams teams yielded no reward in Bahrain, as Nico Rosberg missed a point by just over five seconds and Kazuki Nakajima held the unenviable statistic of being the only retirement from the race. Having topped several practice sessions this season, the team remains eighth in the constructors' championship.
Felipe Massa suffered from a lack of pace and string of incidents in the Bahrain Grand Prix on his way to fourteenth place, one lap down on the leaders. Having won the race at Sakhir in both 2007 and 2008, this year's did nothing but confirm the Brazilian's failure to score points from any of the first four races of the season.
Jarno Trulli expressed his disappointment after the Bahrain Grand Prix having finished second to Jenson Button. The Italian started the race from pole position for Toyota but fell foul of the strategy used by the Brawn team, which saw Jenson Button take a lead of up to seventeen seconds during the race.
A disappointed Timo Glock finished Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix in seventh position; the German had hoped for a much better result after his Toyota team started from the front row of the grid, with the German leading for thie first stint. Glock blamed the lack of pace on poor tyre performances.

Jenson Button was overjoyed to score his third victory of the season in Bahrain on Sunday. The Brawn GP driver was able to pass Sebastien Vettel at the start of the race, despite dropping briefly behind Hamilton. With Toyota surpassed on strategy, winner Button stressed that victory was not easy.

Jenson Button has taken victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix from fourth on the starting grid. The World Championship leader pulled clear of the chasing pack as Sebastian Vettel and pole-sitter Jarno Trulli completed the rostrum. Champion Hamilton finished fourth as Kimi Räikkönen scored Ferrari's first points of the year.
