Rosberg quickest in second session ahead of Williams teammate Kazuki Nakajima.
The Williams duo of Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima topped the final timesheets in Spain on Friday. Although the English cars circulated quickest in Barcelona, most drivers' best efforts were thwarted as Rosberg ground to a halt in the dying seconds of the session. Fernando Alonso raised cheers from his home crowd with third place for Renault.
Romain Grosjean has begun the new season in style, leading his new team, Barwa Campos, to a 1-2 finish in free practice today in Barcelona, ahead of Vitaly Petrov and Edoardo Mortara.

Nico Rosberg has called for an immediate revision of car weights as drivers continue to reduce body mass in an attempt to lessen their disadvantages on-track. The FIA has already announced an increase to the minimum weight of vehicles for next season although the German is adamant that action must be taken sooner in order to combat safety concerns.

Brawn GP's Jenson Button sets the pace in the first practice session for Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix.
Championship leader Jenson Button set his fastest lap in the last knockings of first practice to take the top spot in Spain on Friday morning, as the Brawn team ran the Englishman on softer tyres for his final run. Jarno Trulli was second on the harder compound ahead of the two BMW-Saubers of Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld.
