Grosjean takes Hungaroring pole
Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen completed around five hundred kilometres over the three hours of free practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The two Ferrari drivers got through their entire day's programme, which centred on finding the best set-up on the F2008 and on a comparison of various aerodynamic options as well as the two types of Bridgestone tyre. There were no technical problems.

Red Bull Racing are hoping they can make it into the top ten in qualifying tomorrow after Mark Webber and David Coulthard ended Friday practice in 12th and 13th respectively.

It was a busy first day of running for the Honda team in Budapest today with the focus on establishing a set-up for the team's latest car developments to suit the demands of the Hungaroring circuit. The track continued to improve throughout the course of the day and the team made good progress with its planned programme, however there is still further work to be done to achieve a good balance and to enable the team to improve through the field. Jenson and Rubens ended the day in 16th and 19th positions respectively.

Sébastien Bourdais was happy with his first day of practice at the Hungaroring today as he finished fifteenth overall. Meanwhile Scuderia Toro Rosso team mate Sebastian Vettel had hydraulic problems finishing twentieth.
