On Tuesday, Rizla Suzuki MotoGP racer John Hawkins and Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Vitantonio Liuzzi, both of them part of the Red Bull family, took part in a special seat-swap event, riding and driving each other's machines around the Valencia circuit that hosted the MotoGP finale on Sunday.

FIA president Max Mosley has revealed that he thought Alonso's grid penalty at the Monza Grand Prix was unfair. The punishment was for supposedly blocking Ferrari driver Felipe Massa during qualifying for the Italian race.

Earlier today Red Bull announced that their Scuderia Toro Rosso team will be racing with Ferrari V8-engines in 2007 and 2008 with an option to extend their contract for one further championship year. Todt has said he is pleased a deal has been signed with the Italian team.
