Fernando Alonso revealed that fellow countryman Pedro De la Rosa has been trying to persuade the double world champion to join McLaren for a long time.

F1Racing.net can reveal that Spyker will unveil its 2007 challenger on 5 February. It will be the team's first F1 effort since they purchased Midland F1 in September. Of the team's so far that have confirmed their launch dates, Spyker's is the last one.
