The FIA accepted in a statement on Wednesday that Ferrari could supply two teams in 2008 despite the original 2008 regulations stating that a manufacturer could only have one other team using its power units. Ferrari made the request following its commitment to power both Spyker MF1 and one of the Red Bull teams for next year.

Organisers of the Turkish Grand Prix (MSO) and National Sporting Authority of Turkey (TOFSED) have been granted to pay just half of their US$5 million fine the FIA announced on Wednesday along with the rule changes. The fine, which was for the controversial podium ceremony, will now be a sum of US$2.5 million and removes MSO of its liability.
