Ralf Schumacher Likes New Seamless Shift Gearbox
February 14th, 2007Ralf Schumacher tried out Toyota’s new seamless shift gearbox today and it would seem Ralfie likes it.
Ralf thinks it is a definite step forward. I was already under the impression the a modern F1 sequential gearbox was already pretty seamless. Does anyone know what makes this new transmission so special? Is it really seamless as in CVT or is it just smoother shifting?
