Max Mosley May Revoke Formula One Licence If Drivers Speak Out On Safety
December 21st, 2006It appears that Max Mosley does not want the F1 drivers to speak out about their safety concerns. He has suggested that drivers who speak out or complain about track safety issues run the risk of having their licence revoked.
David Coulthard insists that the Grand Prix Drivers Association would not be intimidated by the FIA so you can bet he’ll be the first on the list when it comes time for Max to make an example of someone.
Personally I think that if the drivers have valid concerns about safety that the FIA is ignoring it is their responsibility to speak up. The idea that you could have your super licence pulled for expressing those concerns seems crazy to me.
