Renault Race Radio Transcript
December 17th, 2006I was just reading a really interesting race transcript from the Brazil Grand Prix of the Renault teams communication with the drivers for the entire race. It was an interesting read but it raised a question for me.
The transcript is available here at F1-Live and mentions several times where the team is asking Fernando Alonso for an “Oil bomb please”. My question is what the heck is it? Why do they want Alonso to do it and what happens if he doesn’t?
Are there any F1 technical types out there that can explain it?
