Brawn GP’s Brown and Piquet connected to Cypher

Steve Brown, the Research and Development Officer of 2009 Champions Brawn GP before making a switch to the now defunct US F1 team, is one of the key figures behind the hopeful American Cypher Group project, it has been revealed by Brazil’s iG Esporte, who also claim that Nélson Piquet Jr. is in talks with the outfit.

Carlin in favour of mandatory pit-stops

This weekend will see pit stops being introduced in British Formula 3 as the teams travel to Rockingham. Carlin driver Jean-Eric Vergne is currently leading the championship. His team boss, Trevor Carlin, has said the introduction of pit-stops is positive for the BF3 drivers' experience.
