Simon Trummer dominated the first day of GP3 testing at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia today, as the teams and drivers took the opportunity to fine tune their cars ahead of Round 3 of the series on the street circuit in the same city next week.

Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo has once again condemned Formula 1's new teams, claiming that the cars in question are both too slow for the sport and can negatively affect the race at the front of the field.
