After scoring pole position in Montreal on Saturday Lewis Hamilton was told to stop his car due to a low level of fuel. The team now will have to pay the price for its actions though and were fined 10,000 US Dollar by the race directors but according to Whitmarsh the team complied with the F1 regulations.

As Lewis Hamilton completed his flying lap that will place him on pole position for Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix the Briton had to slow down and stop his car as he was on low fuel. The Briton got out of his car and started pushing his car while waving to the excited crowd. After qualifying Hamilton said it felt great and it was something he won't forget.
