'Impossible race against time' - Kolles

Colin Kolles was both pleased and relieved to have seen the covers come off Hispania Racing's first ever Formula 1 car on Thursday following several months of struggle for Spain's first team. Having previously worked at Jordan, Midland, Spyker and Force India, the German returns for 2010 after a year's sabbatical from F1.

The Hispania Racing Team (HRT), formerly known as Campos Meta, officially launched its 2010 contender in Spain on Thursday. The Madrid-based outfit travelled to the city of Murcia where it also revealed that Karun Chandhok becomes India's second ever Formula 1 driver alongside Bruno Senna, completing the 2010 grid.

1997 Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve will not return to the grid in 2010. The Canadian driver had hoped to return to F1 with Stefan GP but as the FIA released the official entry list on Wednesday evening it became clear the team will not be allowed to enter the sport in 2010.
