The Australian Grand Prix Corporation announced Australian airline company Qantas as this year's naming rights sponsor and premier partner for the 2010 Australian Grand Prix. Qantas has a long history of partnership with the Grand Prix since Formula One came to Australia in 1985.

US F1 driver Jose Maria Lopez could be exciting the team before he even completed a lap for the Charlotte based outfit. As US F1 is about to miss the start of the 2010 Formula 1 season Lopez now wishes to join an other new team in Formula 1: Campos. According to his manager an announcement could come as early as this Thursday.

Force India restructures technical department

Force India's technical director James Key has left the team with immidiate effect to pursue new opoprtunties the Silverstone based team announced on Wednesday. The team's design director, Mark Smith, will become the team's new technical director and will assume responsibility for the entire mechanical and aerodynamic design of the team's challengers.
