Double world champion Fernando Alonso hails the new Ferrari F10 as the best car he has ever driven.

Scuderia Toro Rosso finished this week's four-day test at Jerez on a positive note. The team was pleased to have completed the week in Jerez without any major problems. After the four-day test in the South of Spain the team's chief engineer, Laurent Mekies, said he was happy with the car's reliability ahead of the final week of testing next week in Barcelona.

Mercedes Grand Prix' week of testing came to an end on Saturday at Jerez. The former Brawn GP team was happy to end the week with a day of testing at a dry track in order to complete the team's test programme with the MGP W01. Team principal Ross Brawn was pleased with the progress on the set-up of the car.

Fernando Alonso completed 137 laps at Jerez on Saturday and set a sixth fastest time on the clocks. The Spaniard isn't worried about the times shown at the Jerez time sheets though. Jenson Button completed the fastest lap on the final day of testing at Jerez but according to Alonso the McLaren driver was only showing his muscles, while Alonso claims to have focussed mainly on reliability rather than the F10's pace.
