Mercedes Grand Prix Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher completed Mercedes' fourth and final day of testing this week on Saturday in Jerez. The German completed 84 laps setting a quickest time of 1.20.613. The German was positive after his day of testing and said the team is making good progress so far.

On Saturday Lucas di Grassi completed the first proper day of testing for the Virgin Racing team at Jerez this week. After completing a shakedown on Wednesday the team completed little running on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday though the team managed to complete 63 laps without any major problems.

The Williams Formula 1 team completed it's four-day test at Jerez on Saturday afternoon a bit earlier than planned due to a gearbox problem. Rubens Barrichello completed 90 laps working on set-up work of the team's 2010 contender.

2008 Champion Lewis Hamilton has confirmed that four different teams have finished at the top of the timesheets on as many days in Jerez as the second test session came to a close on Saturday. With morning rain having seemingly signalled another gloomy day, drivers were able to enjoy a dry surface from lunchtime onwards.
On Saturday Rubens Barrichello will continue testing with the Williams Formula 1 team in the South of Spain. At Jerez the Brazilian will mainly focus on the performance of the car, while on Friday he mainly focussed on the reliability of the car alongside engine supplier Cosworth.
Nico Rosberg, Kamui Kobayashi and Jaime Alguersuari have ensured that three different teams have led the timesheets on as many days so far in Jerez this week and, as the fourth and final day of the first Jerez 2010 pre-season test looms, yet more rain is forecast
