Newly-elected FIA president Jean Todt has revealed that one of his first major projects, as far as F1 is concerned, is to make the sport more environmentally responsible and also to continue to drive down costs.

Former Formula 1 driver Jean Alesi has invited MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi to join the Frenchman in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2010 on board of a Ferrari F430. Rossi though had to turn down Alesi's offer due to his busy schedule in June.
