Max Mosley will face a vote of confidence in his role as president of the FIA, motorsport's governing body has confirmed. The vote will be a secret ballot of members and comes after Mosley was forced to call an extraordinary general meeting in Paris, following calls for him to step down after a newspaper exposed details of his private life.

Last month Indianapolis Motorspeedway owner Tony George already openly admitted he hopes to welcome back Formula 1 one day to his track. George admitted it was mainly due to a number of sponsors whether or not F1 can return to the US. This week the track's president joined George in a bid to get Formula 1 back to Indianapolis.
The Super Aguri team will once again be unable to join other Formula 1 teams in a three-day test session. While other F1 teams will travel to Barcelona for a three-day test next week the Super Aguri team will have to stay at home as a final agreement is not yet finished with the Magma Group, the company purchasing the Japanese team.

FIA president Max Mosley has lost a High Court bid to stop the News of the World from showing a videoclip of him and five prostitutes on the newspaper's website. In a statement, the Sunday newspaper said it would be put the clip back on the site "forthwith".
