Lewis Hamilton wasn't too worried after crashing his McLaren into the tyre barriers on Friday afternoon in Bahrain. The McLaren driver was pushing for a fast lap but crashed hard into the tyre barriers as his car jumped off the kerbs.
The two Ferraris topped the time sheets in both free practice sessions held today at the Sakhir circuit. Felipe Massa was quickest in the morning and afternoon, with his team mate, world champion Kimi Raikkonen behind him each time. As usual on a Friday, Ferrari's programme centred on finding the best set-up and on comparing the two types of Bridgestone tyre on offer in Bahrain.

In Friday's second free practice session Massa was almost a second ahead of team mate Raikkonen. Lewis Hamilton suffered from a heavy crash but got out unharmed.
