The FIA is set to tweak qualifying rules ahead of next weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix, to prevent a repeat of events in Malaysia.

Villeneuve signs up with Speedcar

Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve will race with Speedcar in the last two rounds of the Series' inaugural season. He will take to the grid for the upcoming race at the Bahrain Grand Prix on April 4-6 followed by the final round in Dubai a week later on April 11-12.

FIA to change qualifying rule

McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh insists that McLaren's decision not to participate in the pre-season test session at Bahrain will be no significant disadvantage to the team as it bids to regain the initiative in the championship from a dominant Ferrari victory in Malaysia.
