In the humid heat of Sepang the BMW Sauber F1 Team scored 11 championship points - the best result for the young crew so far. Robert Kubica finished second after a strong performance at the Malaysian Grand Prix. Nick Heidfeld was sixth, having lost ground right after the start. After two of 18 races the BMW Sauber F1 Team is second in the Constructors' Championship with 19 points.

Honda achieved a top 10 finish in today's Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang Circuit in Kuala Lumpur. Jenson Button brought his RA108 home in 10th place and team-mate Rubens Barrichello ended the race in 13th position.

McLaren Mercedes drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton finished the Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang Circuit in third and fifth positions respectively. After 56 laps, Heikki came home 38.4 seconds behind winner Kimi Raikkonen whilst Lewis was fifth, 46.5 seconds behind.
The Force India Formula One Team has finished the Malaysian Grand Prix with Giancarlo Fisichella in 12th position. Unfortunately, after moving from 20th on the grid to 14th in five laps, Adrian Sutil's car developed a hydraulic problem on the fifth lap and the German was unable to finish the race.
The Super Aguri Formula 1 team was happy to see both Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson finish the Malaysian Grand Prix. The team finished in fifteenth and sixteenth on Sunday at Sepang in a race without any problems.
Malaysia GP: Fastest Race Laps
After a poor qualifying session on Saturday in Sepang, the Williams team was not able to score points in Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix as various events compromised the team's ability to follow their planned strategies.
The Renault Formula 1 team scored Sunday's final point as Fernando Alonso finished the Malaysian Grand Prix in eighth position. The Spaniard completed his race without any incidents. Team mate Nelson Piquet jr. finished his first Formula 1 race, the Brazilian finished in eleventh.
Jarno Trulli finished the Malaysian Grand Prix in fourth position. The Italian enjoyed a solid weekend and showed Toyota made good progress over the winter finishing just outside the podium. Trulli's team mate Timo Glock was pushed out of the race by Nico Rosberg.

Kimi Raikkonen was delighted with his return to winning ways after claiming just one point in the Australian Grand Prix. The Finn trailed team mate Felipe Massa up until the first pit stops of the Malaysian Grand Prix, but pulled out some extraordinary pace on his first pit stop in-lap to take the lead.
Lewis Hamilton was insistent that he got the most he could out of the Malaysian Grand Prix today after finishing in fifth place behind Jarno Trulli. The McLaren driver started from ninth on the grid and lost 12 seconds in his first pit stop as mechanics struggled to change his front right tyre. Hamilton then found himself following Mark Webber for much of the race.

Robert Kubica was delighted with his first podium finish since the 2006 Italian Grand Prix as he fought back from a pointless Australian Grand Prix to finish second, just 20 seconds behind Kimi Raikkonen.
Felipe Massa suffered a peculiar spin in between the quick turns seven and eight while running a strong second in the Malaysian Grand Prix. The Brazilian ended up stranded in the gravel, ending his race.
