Nico Rosberg had admitted he has no idea how a race under the floodlights will be when Formula 1 travels to Singapore for the first ever Formula 1 race at night. The Williams driver has said that safety is a concern for street races, especially one under floodlights at night.

Former Renault man joins A1 GP

Honda Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello has said he never saw a red light at the end of the pitlane. The Brazilian was disqualified from the Australian Grand Prix moments after the race was finished. Barrichello finished in sixth position and saw three valuable championship points slipping through his fingers.

Fernando Alonso fought to a better than expected fourth place finish in the Australian Grand Prix, after qualifying eleventh. Heading to Malaysia the Spaniard is in good spirits but targeting an better qualifying performance from his car as the major area for improvement.

Honda surprised many in the paddock in Australia when Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button showed much better pace than expected, qualifying just outside of the top ten. Despite Button being knocked out at the first corner, and Barrichello's disqualification, new team boss Ross Brawn expects the team to be competitive in Malaysia.

Jarno Trulli was in line for a strong points finish in the top six at Melbourne last weekend when his Toyota failed him. The Italian, however, is confident his car will be just as competitive in Malaysia this weekend as he is determined to bounce back.

Rubens Barrichello is expecting to have a good season at the wheel of his Honda, despite a fraught race in Australia in which he was eventually disqualified from sixth.
