Ferrari announced the board of directors for the next three years. Luca di Montezemolo remains Ferrari President while Jean Todt will step down from his role as Ferrari CEO. Todt will be replaced by Italian Amadeo Felisa.

Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz has said that his second Formula 1 team, Scuderia Toro Rosso, has been put up for sale. Mateschitz wants to focus on his team Red Bull Raacing and as the Concorde Agreement won't allow customer cars from 2010 Toro Rosso will have to build the entire car themselves.

Honda Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello has said he never saw a red light at the end of the pitlane. The Brazilian was disqualified from the Australian Grand Prix moments after the race was finished. Barrichello finished in sixth position and saw three valuable championship points slipping through his fingers.
